New Strange Place (Reno)

[Chey Phillips]

Chey was running after a bounty as she had run one way while the others went the other. she then sighed as she closed in on him, but then she fell all of the sudden. She then was waiting for the hardness of the road, but insted there was only softness. she then opened her eyes and looked around confused by this. She then saw a few horses and that she was in some kind of stable.

She then got up slightly but not comepletly just yet as she was afraid to fall if she did so. She rubbed her head and looked around again with a sigh "Where the hell am I? This doesn't look like Bay city? How hard did I hit my head back there?" she said to herself and looked around again very much confused by all of this. She then got up and was now standing on her own two feet as she pet the horse that had been standing over her when she had been lying down and sighed again.

Chey smelled the air and looked around herself again curious who runs this stable and if they were nice people or not. she then sighed and walked out looking to see if she could find anyone around there. she had no idea just yet that Reno was there and that in this place she was thought to be a princess. She then looked around again"Hello? Anyone here?" she then waited to see if anyone answered her and sighed again shaking her head lost in thoughts about what could have happened.

Things were so very strange to her and she thought that maybe she was dreaming or something like that, but then she noticed that it was real and that made her scared slightly. This was a place she didn't know and she had no idea what to expect here either. She then shook her head and calmed down as she looked around herself once more trying to figure out what to do next. chey then looked to the door as she heard foot steps and froze in shock as she was confused by the one that she saw standing there "Reno?" that was all she was able to say for now as she waited for his reaction.

[Reno Raines]

Reno watched her from the spot he stood in, not sure what to say or do. He was shocked to see her, and for a few minutes thought that he was imagining her, but when he saw that she was real, he sighed and walked over to her. "Chey?!" Reno said as he walked over to her. He then looked between the horse and her. "I see you met soft tail, my horse. Also she used to be my bike, but that is besides the point" Reno said, as he laughed slightly at that. He was still confused by that. Also, Reno was surprised tht it was one of the first things he said to her, but he just felt like it was worth mentioning to her.

He looked around, then back at her and sighed. Reno was happt that she was there, but also very shocked too, as he didn't expect her there, also he didn't complain, as he couldn't complain about it, as he loved her very much. He smiled at her, as he petted the horse, then looked back at her. Reno looked her over, as he then just looked at her face, as he closed his eyes, then opened them, only to realize that she was really there. Reno watched her for a few minutes not sure what to do or say next. He then hugged her gently close to himself. Reno didn't wish to ler her go, but eventually he did let go. Also he still watched her no matter what.

"It is really you"he said as he hugged her close to him. Reno loved her very much, as well as cared for her a great deal too. He was happy that she was there, so part of him hoped that she won't be stuck there, because it wasn't the safest, but on other hand he needed someone he knew there to keep him company, and if it's the woman he loved, the better, or so he thought. Chey wasn't Val, that was true but she also was a woman he loved and wanted to be with forever. If he couldn't be with Val, then Reno wanted to be with Chey, also he was scared to say it or admit it, but it was true just the same. He looked down then back at her, as he hugged her once more, as well as kissed her cheek, and after that he leg go again.

"Chey, you have no idea how much I missed you. I never thought that I will see you again, but here you are! I was scared that I won't see either of you again, but here you are Chey, I am stuck here for two weeks or so. When did you get here? Just now or are you here for a while?" Reno asked, as he wasn't there when she showed up, so he had no idea when she got there, even so he was glad that she was there with him. One thing for sure, he planned to do all he could not to let her go, no matter what as she mattered to him a lot, there was no doubt about it.If a person walked on them now, they would be able to tell that Reno cared for her, as well as loved her, but no one did walk in on them.

She still stood there not sure how to react and when he spoke she came out of the trance with a sudden shake of her head "Reno? How is this possible? Am I dreaming?" she then watched him as he spoke again and smiled "No, it's Dutch in a wig... of course it's me silly and where are we exactly?" she then laughed a bit and watched him again still confused by all of this. Chey then looked at the horse again as she pointed at her "Soft Tail? Interesting name for a horse and say what? Reno how is it possible that she used to be your bike?" she then watched him confused and sighed again lost in thoughts.

She watched him still shocked and unsure how to react to all of this. she was glad to see him there, but she had no idea where they were and if there was even a way back to where they belong. She was confused by the horse being his bike and wasn't sure that was even possible, but she knew he wasn't a lier and that confused her even more. she then felt him hug her as she hugged him back.

She smiled to this as he spoke again after the hug "Yes Reno it's me and I am glad to see you too, at least I know someone in this strange place! Why are you here though Reno? Do you work here or something?" she wasn't making fun of him and in her tone of voice she made sure he would know that as she was just curious really. She then watched him again waiting for the answer still not knowing that to this place she was a princess.

She smiled to this and watched him again "I missed you too Reno and we wonderd where you had gone, now I know and it's strange really! Two weeks? Reno how is that possible? You were there chasing the bounty like the rest of us as always! I just got here really I was after a bounty and then fell here litterly" she then sighed to this confused and watched him again with a smile. She loved him, but was too scared to tell him that just yet as she never wanted to loose him as her friend.

[Reno Raines]

Reno watched her and sighed, not sure what to think, as like her he was surprised to see her. "Yes it's me, and not sure, by what a woman named Rek'ka or something like that told me, we are getting pulled here by some portals which are opening everywhere. It makes no sense to me, and yet here we are! I want to say yes, but if you are dreaming then so do I, and I am not dreaming" he said to her and sighed. Reno laughed at what she said next. "Haha, you are funny. That is definitely you, and besides he won't look good with the wig anyway! Glad to have you in my life again, was starting to slowly lose hope. already! We are in the stables, of a place called Aldeon" he explained to her. Reno watched her, as he followed her gaze and nodded. "Yes, soft tail and yes it is, the only name I could come up with. Couldn't call her Chey, as it is taken by beautiful lady! As I said, and believe me, I have no idea but it is the way it is" he said to her. "I got here with my bike, only when I got here I noticed that I am sitting on a horse, but I had no horse and she knows me! So I have no doubt it is my bike, well she used to be my bike that is" Reno said, and sighed too, lost in thoughts and confused too, as he was confused about it all, as he got there.

He watched her closely and shrugged, as he had no idea how to really explain any of it, other than saying it was real. Reno had no idea how to explain to her that they were stuck there, without scaring her or worrying her. Or even both. Reno was glad that they had each other, as it made things easier for them both, which was a good thing. He had no doubt that the idea that his horse used to be his bike confused her, as it still confused him too, also he was getting used to it already. When Reno hugged her, he felt her hug him back, as he smiled at that, glad that they were together not alone. That was all he could ever hope for.

Reno smiled back at her, as he spoke, after the hug. "I am glad you are in my life, again. That is good to know, Chey! Yes at least that. At least we both know someone in this strange place! Yes I am, I am a stable boy, also not a kid but you get what I mean, I hope. What about you? Unless you ended in the stables once you got here?" he said to her, as he still watched her closely. Reno knew that she didn't make fun of him, because of her tone of voice, and because he knew her rather well. To know that about her.

Reno smiled back, as he looked at the horse, then back at her. "You have? That is good to know, means you cared and still care, which is good, as I feel the same. Not that I ever doubted that or anything, of course, but good to hear you say that. I have no doubt about it, I was sure you would, and now you do, it is strange but true! Yes two weeks, give or take. Was I? How could it be? Unless we came from two different time lines, which is possible. Since you saw me disappear not long ago! Oh wow, at least you didn't hurt yourself, did you?" he said, as he looked her over, to make sure that she wasn't hurt or anything like that, since he loved and cared for her, after all.

She watched him as he said this and sighed slightly still confused by all of this "Rek'ka? That's an interesting name and portals? How is that even possible Reno?" she watched him still confused by this and sighed slightly. when he reacted to what she had said she laughed again "That is very true Reno as a wig wouldn't suit him in any way" she then sighed to what he said and nodded slightly, not sure what to expect of this place really. "Well I am here now Reno, still not sure how it's possible, but alright! Aldeon? Interersting name and does this stable belong to you Reno?" she then waited for his answer and smiled slightly glad to have him there with her as well. She then blushed when he said this, but tried to hde it as she heard what else he had to tell her "That's very strange Reno and it's a good name for a horse really" she still wasn't sure what to make of what he had just told her, but she knew that they were stuck here for now.

She watched him lost in thoughts about all that they had been through and everything that he had told her until now. She also wonderd if it was just them or if the others were here in this strange place as well. she then sighed to that thought and looked at him again. she was glad that they were not alone here and that they had each other, though she didn't tell him that just yet as she was scared how he might react. Chey loved him very much and that would never change, though she wasn't sure how to tell him.

She watched him as he said this and nodded "That is very true Reno and I am glad about that as well" she then smiled and watched him as he spoke again "That is interesting and ya I know what you mean, I have no idea Reno as this was the first place I showed up in when chasing a Bounty" she then sighed to this and looked around trying to figure out what title this place had given her.

Chey watched him and nodded to this "Of course I care for you Reno and always have" she smiled when she said this and watched him again thinking about what he had to say "Knowing how strange this place is that is very possible and so it seems that is what happened, but that is very strange to me" she was confused by this and sighed slightly trying to make some kind of sense out of all that was going on here. She then snapped out of her thoughts as she watched him again "I am fine Reno I fell on the hay over there insted of the hard pavement I expected to fall on, which is interesting really" she then smiled as she said this and looked into his eyes with another smile.

Reno watched her, as he spoke and sighed, then listened to her. "Yes, Rek'ka, and it sure is an interesting name! Yeah portals, had no idea it was possible, until I was brought here, and until she told me about it. I wish I knew, all I know is that it is, but not sure how" he said and sighed. Reno watched her, when he reacted to what she said next, he watched her laugh, as he laughed at that too, once more. "That is for sure, besides it will make him more uglier, if that's even possible! You are way prettier than him" he said. As Reno said the next, he sighed too, as he looked around, then back at her. He then listened to what she said next, then spoke once more. "Yes you are, and that is good. I mean at least I have you with me!Neither do I, and yet here we both are somewhere we never thought we would be, in a place we never heard about. Yes Aldeon, and yes it is!The horse yes, not the stable, I am only work here, no more nor less" He said with a smile, as he watched her, as he said the next, he then continued to talk, as he looked around, then back at her. "Yes it sure is strange, most things here are strange, if you ask me!Thank you, and yeah I think so too. The horse is lovely too, other than the name" Reno said to her, with a smile. He looked around once more, then back at her, once more.

Reno watched her closely, as he too was lost in thoughts about everything that they had been through, as we as anything he had been through on his own. The longer passed, the more he wondered if the others from where they were from, were around or not, which meant Bobby, other friends or their enemies. Reno did hope that their enemies weren't there, of course as he had no time for it, and he had no doubt that Chey was the same way too. He was glad that they weren't alone, and that they had each other, even if he didn't tell her yet, not sure how she would react, among other things. Like Chey, Reno loved her a lot and wanted to be with her, but had no idea how to tell her that, let alone admit that to himself. He knew that they were alone at that moment, without her brother but he still couldn't bring himself to tell her that, just yet. To say that Reno was scared, was an understtendment. He was terrified to admit it, plan and simple, at least so far anyway.

Reno watched her, as he said the next, then listened to her. "Good to know, I am glad. Not that I ever doubted that, or anything like that. Yet, it is good to hear you say that, just the same! I feel the same way, about you too Chey. More than you ever know, or will know" he said to her. Reno smiled at her, as he still watched her, and spoke once more, then listened to her yet again. "Yeah exactly, it sure does, doesn't it? Nothing about this place would surprise me! At least thank god, that here you are not married to Dutch, like where we are from, you are not married to him, and so is here. At least hope not, that is, also I doubt that, very much" he said to her and sighed, as he meant it. Reno knew if that was the case she would suffer, and he didn't want her to suffer. Reno watched her closely, as he looked around, then back at her. He watched her and sighed. "Really? Wow, crazy and strange portal, also I am glad you are not hurt of course. But I sure am confused by all of it, just like you! It is surprising and interesting. I guess it wanted us to see each other, for some reason, not that I am complaining, as I did miss you" he watched her, as he too looked in to her eyes with a smile

She sighed to this and nodded to what he had to say “This is all too strange for me really, but I trust you Reno” she then sighed slightly not sure what to make of it all. She smiled when he said this and also laughed as well “I would love to see that and indeed! Aww, you are sweet Reno” she then blushed a bit when he said this, but tried to hide it the best she could. She nodded to this and smiled slightly “I am glad we have each other at least in this strange land and it is still a strange name for a land like this” she then sighed to this and watched him glad to have him there as she would be going crazy if she had to go through this alone. She looked around and then back to him as he spoke again “You mean you are a stable boy who takes care of this for someone else? Interesting and its cool” she wasn’t making fun of him in any way and her tone of voice would let him know that. “Indeed that is true Reno and you are welcome” she then smiled to this and watched him again looking into his eyes for a moment and then looking away slightly shy.

Chey watched him and was also lost in thoughts about what they might have to face when being here, who she was in this strange place and also who else from those they knew would show up like she had. Like Reno she hoped that their enemies don’t show up as that would give them both trouble in this place no doubt. She hoped that they would find a way back one day and sighed to that thought as she looked at him again. She wanted to tell him how she felt more then anything, but she was scared of what would come next and would hate to loose him as her friend if he doesn’t feel the same about her. She sighed as she thought about this and looked around trying to figure things out. She then sighed again and smiled when she looked at him once more.

She smiled when he said this and gave him a hug “I am glad to hear you say that as well Reno and I am glad that we are here together since being alone in this strange place must have been hard on you” she then sighed to this and then smiled again watching him once more. She watched him and shuttered to that thought “Oh god no, I would kill myself if that was the case…well that or escape any way” she then sighed to this and watched him once more “This place is interesting, but very unexpected as well and that worries me a little bit” she then sighed as she said this. She watched him and nodded to this “Crazy portal indeed” she laughed at this slightly as it was hard for her to say it without doing so since this was all too strange for her still “Sorry about that, it’s just all too strange to me and it’s hard to talk about portals as before I got here I never thought they were possible” she then sighed to this and watched him again with a smile “Thanks Reno I know you are glad as we are friends after all, but it is good to hear you say that none the less and yes maybe so” she then watched him and smiled again. “I missed you too Reno and am glad that you are alright” she then smiled to this again and looked in his eyes once more.
